Syllabus

Accounting entails the collection, recording and analysis of financial data, in order to make financial decisions. There is a balance between theory and practice to ensure that a learner can either enter the job market or study further.  It also focus on ethical behaviour transparency and responsibility within a business.  Financial and management accounting form part of the syllabus.

Die studieveld van Ekonomie is: behoeftes, produksie, verbruik en besparing; die rol van geld, markte en prysvorming; die ontstaan en ontwikkeling van die SA-ekonomie, geld en markte; die rol van huishoudings, sake-ondernemings, die owerheid en die buiteland; die ekonomiese kringloop, sakesiklusse en die arbeidsmag, asook mikro- en makro-ekonomie.

Practical assignments which enable learners to develop problem solving skills, creative thinking and critical thinking. IT enables them to keep in touch with trending economical and work environment issues.
